Meet Cameo!

Cameo is our cat, she is part Siamese and she is sometimes a bit crazy but she is extremely cute and she has a lot of personality. She is almost nine years old, but she is still very healthy and active. I adopted her back in 2003 when I found an ad in the paper for free Siamese kittens. She was very small and they said she was the runt of the litter. She was the only kitten left and I just thought she was the cutest. She was mostly white at this age aside from some splotches of black around her eye near her noise and on her ears and tail. When I took her to a vet a few days later for a checkup I found out that she was only 3 weeks old and way too young to be away from her mom, this also explained why she was so small. Even though she was young she was already litter box trained from the day that I got her, I could tell that she was very smart right from the beginning.

As Cameo grew up all of her colors started to really come in, she gained even more brownish-black patches, she also began to develop an almost a peach like color on her face and later all over. We moved around from place to place for awhile (as college kids sometimes do) and I think it got to her because once we moved into my apartment in Rolling Glen she became very territorial but I've also been told by some people that is just how Siamese cats can be. Cameo was not completely thrilled at first when James moved in with us and she liked to swat at his feet and generally give him a hard time in the beginning. After she got used to Jimmi being around she soon began to warm up to him and now they are good friends. Cameo enjoys tuna and salmon, running around our apartment at top speed and climbing the doorways, sun bathing, playing with her toys, and taking long naps.

While Cameo will not be able to make it to the wedding she will be there in spirit.
