Our Story

Andrea first met James in 2000 shortly after moving to Bloomington, IN to go to college. They met through a mutual friend while he was still living in Indianapolis and she was in Indy going to a party. They began hanging out when James moved to Bloomington the same year to pursue his music career as a DJ.

Andrea had been into going to raves and listening to electronic music since her senior year of high school and she attended many of Jimmi's events. Eventually she began helping in whatever ways she could (like passing out flyers for parties) and she got to know James a little bit better.

The two became much closer and better friends throughout the next few years and in 2007, after James had moved back to Indianapolis, they began to become a couple. It was hard at first for them to find time to spend together because of work, school, and the fact that James lived an hour away. James moved back to Bloomington so that their relationship could have a better chance and eventually they moved in together as Andrea finished up her classes and finally graduated from IU.

In 2010 on Christmas Eve James proposed to Andrea in front of the big Santa and reindeer lights display on the National City Bank in Fort Wayne, IN, while they were there visiting her family. Andrea was thrilled to share the news with her family and friends and excited to show off her beautiful new engagement ring. Ann really wanted to be married in the spring or summer time and thinking that only 4-5 months was not enough time to plan such a major event, the couple decided to have their wedding in the summer of 2012. They have spent the last year preparing and planning for the wedding and are very excited that it is now only a few months away.
